Description

Impregnation with olive oil and other natural ingredients. Increases protection against dirt and moisture and cares for open-pored leather. Significantly reduces the risk of water stains (see note below). Ideal for all LederGlück products.

Manufactured in Germany in a particularly environmentally friendly manner. Thanks to the pump atomizer, no propellant gases are used, making it suitable for use indoors.

Application

Shake before use and pump several times until a uniform spray mist is achieved. Hold upright and spray a thin, even layer onto the leather from a distance of approximately 20 cm. Immediately spread evenly with a cotton pad or a soft, lint-free cloth and allow to dry thoroughly for approximately 12 hours. Repeat for greater protection.

Notes

The leather may darken permanently after use. This applies particularly to lighter leather colors. If in doubt, please test the effect first on color samples or in inconspicuous areas. Please also refer to our information page on leather care.

Even waterproofing cannot permanently prevent liquids from penetrating open-pored leather. However, waterproofing significantly slows the process and can effectively prevent staining.

We conducted a series of tests with clear water, letting a drop sit on various leather colors for 10 seconds and then wiping it off. The effect of the waterproofing treatment is clearly visible in the photos (right-click to enlarge and open in a new tab): Unlike unimpregnated areas, the water beads up and leaves no stains after it dries completely.
